Sheena Purcell

Sheena Purcell is a Montreal-based designer and jeweler committed to working with ethical gems and recycled gold.

She studied Fine arts at NSCAD University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and graduated in 2004 with a Major in jewelry design and metalsmithing.
Having grown up on the beautiful windswept island of Cape Breton, nature and life near the sea can be seen as a continuing theme in her work. Since she spent a number of years living in Japan, a subtle influence from this aesthetic can be seen as well in her work.
