La tanzanite est la superbe variété bleu-violet de la zoïsite minérale que l'on ne trouve que dans une seule partie du monde, la Tanzanie.

Le zircon est une pierre précieuse sous-estimée qui est souvent confondue avec la zircone cubique synthétique en raison de noms similaires. Peu de gens réalisent que le zircon est une pierre précieuse naturelle spectaculaire disponible dans une variété de couleurs.

La topaze est un minéral silicaté de fluor et d'aluminium. En raison de sa rareté dans la nature, la topaze bleue est le plus souvent obtenue par chauffage et irradiation de topaze incolore. Il enregistre 8 sur l'échelle de dureté de Mohs, ce qui le rend presque aussi dur que le saphir et plus résistant que la tanzanite.
